EZ COVER
The EZ Cover is intended to provide a protective cover system for ultrasound transducer usage on body surface for point-of-care, diagnostic, and intra-operative patient environments to prevent transfer of microorganisms, body fluids, and particulate material to the patient and healthcare worker during use of the transducer, and help maintain the sterile field where applicable.
EZ Cover is a single use sterile protective cover for placement over diagnostic ultrasound transducer/probe device. EZ Cover™ Time Out adds a compliance reminder to stop and perform the mandatory Time Out Checklist.

Wrong site blocks (WSB) are classified as never events but they tend to happen frequently. A nation-wide patient safety campaign in the UK called “Stop before you block” is aimed at reducing the
incidence of inadvertent wrong-sided nerve blocks during regional anesthesia.
EZCOVER are available with STOP (Check) label. The sticker reminds the practitioner to STOP immediately prior to the start of the procedure and conduct a final confirmation on the right surgery site and side of the block.

The Universal Time-Out Procedure Drape allows improvement in:

- Patient safety by reinforcing the implementation of a mandatory checklist and laterality check policy to prevent procedure on the wrong side
Drapes create a barrier between the surgical field and possible sources of microbes. Microbial migration and contamination from nonsterile to sterile areas is minimized by isolating the incision site and creating a sterile field with the use of sterile drapes.
Drapes protect the patient from their own skin flora (endogenous source of contamination) and surgical team members and environment (exogenous sources of contamination).
